Packages

Three sizes of review, three fixed prices

£120, £230 and £390, charged per project. Which one you need is decided by the number of pages and forms on the agreed list, and it is confirmed to you in writing before anything is due.

The six checks every package carries

These are not options. Whichever package is bought, this is what is done to the pages on the list.

  • Every link on the agreed pages opened one by one, internal and external, and what it lands on written down
  • Every form in the package filled in and submitted, and the reply it gives back checked
  • Placeholder text, sample images and copy left over from a template, listed with the page it sits on
  • Blocks that are empty, unfinished or stop mid-sentence, listed page by page
  • Navigation followed between the agreed pages in both directions, including the menu, the footer and the way back
  • A written pre-launch checklist with a status against every line, and a list of findings ranked so you know what has to be done first

The last row is the one to read twice. A repeat review of your fixes belongs to the Extended Launch Review and to no other package, and making those fixes is in none of them.

What no package includes

Written out in full, in one place, so that nothing here can be a surprise after the invoice.

  • Fixing anything that is found. The review reports; the repairs are yours to make or to commission, and they are not covered by the fee.
  • A promise that every fault has been found. One person checks agreed pages at an agreed moment, in the browsers your package covers. Faults outside that, and faults that appear afterwards, are outside the review.
  • A certificate, badge, seal or approval. Nothing is issued to display on your site, because a review is not a certification.
  • An opinion on your design, your photographs or the way your copy is written.
  • A speed, security or accessibility audit. Those are different jobs with different tools.
  • A legal check of your policies. The review can say that a page is missing or that a link to it is broken; it cannot say whether its wording is right for your business.
  • Any change to your hosting, domain, content management system or DNS. No admin login is asked for and none is needed.
  • Pages added, rebuilt or renamed after the page list was agreed.

Not sure which one fits?

Put the page and form counts into the form and it will point at a package. The counts are checked against the site itself before any price is agreed, so a guess costs nothing.
